Happy Christmas to all our Quadrathletes!

Im sure most of you will have time to wear your lycra, and get out for a swim, kayak, bike or run over the festive holidays! Like all the athletes I know, we all like to get out in the fresh air for some fun on the trails, or a blast on the river ….. leaving room for more mince pies and mulled wine!

It’s what makes most of us tick ….. and besides, I bet we will all want to test out our new Christmas toys, with 4 disciplines to master, Santa is never stuck for ideas! Even though he might not be able to disguise them!

Its going to be a great year for British Quadrathlon hosting The World Championships for the first time ever will be amazing! A big thanks to Lincsquad for taking on the Championships! All the details are on our ‘gb team page’ so keep posted … and start training!

Eric Hatliff ‘Our Quadfather’ would be so proud the Worlds are coming to Great Britain, he brought Quadrathlon to GB 25 years ago after competing at many World Championships in Europe, sadly he died in 2007 …. but Im sure his spirit will live on though our racing, and I have no doubt Lincsquad will do us PROUD!

So a few dates for you to ponder over, whilst tucking into the Christmas goodies – add them to your 2014 diarys!

BQA National Trophy Events for 2014
