Description The Norfolk Superhero Challenge is an endurance test for all! The Superhero Challenge have affiliated to the BQA to support the multi sport of Quadrathlon.

The quadrathlon consists of: Swim - 1 mile from Gun Hill to the quay at Burnham Overy Staithe with the incoming tide. Kayak - 4 mile course through the creeks of Burnham Overy Staithe. Cycle - 38 mile circular route on North Norfolk’s most scenic roads. Run - 7 miles across tracks, sand, mud and marsh.

This is a team event consisting of pairs either of male, female or mixed. Teams must complete the whole course together in order to qualify for one or more of the trophies..

The 5 categories with winners, trophies and prizes are: The Lord Nelson Trophy – 2 men. The Lady Hamilton Cup – 2 women. The Dame Edna Trophy – mixed team. The Local Heroes Award – 1st team home where both members live full time in Norfolk. Zimmer Winner – 1st team home with a combined age of over 100.

2010 is the Norfolk Superhero Challenge’s 4th year and despite increasing the number of places available this years event on 19th June is now fully booked.

Please do not despair as we are introducing, for the 2011 event, a new open booking system which will be available from September 2010.
