Damp and Cold but everyone was smiling!
It was damp, it was cold and it was windy but the 2010 Norfolk Superhero Challenge was bigger and better than ever and a resounding success!
The Lord Nelson Trophy was won by local heroes Charlie Ward and Matt Gingell in 4 hours, 19 minutes and 56 seconds. Congratulations to all the 108 competitors that finished the Quadrathlon which consisted of a 1 mile Swim - from Gun Hill to the quay at Burnham Overy Staithe with the incoming tide. Kayak - 4 mile course through the creeks of Burnham Overy Staithe. Cycle - 38 mile circular route on North Norfolk’s most scenic roads. Run - 7 miles across tracks, sand, and at the end just to finish you of a 1 mile mud swamp!
