Fantastic New Race in Germany!
Exciting news for Quadrathletes looking for a challenge in 2010!
4-5 September will Cologne will celebrate, a unique multi-sport event. In addition to numerous triathlon distances, it is also running a long distance Quadrathlon over 5 km swim, 21km kayak, 90 km bike and 21 km run.
The last long distance Quadrathlon was in Lubmin 2007, the Germans once again will bring this long distance race back onto the World Cup Circuit. It will have World Cup Status and will also be part of the Germany Cup.
The Quadrathlon Long Distance will run alongside the Triathlon World Championship in Cologne over the same weekend, it is a superb opportunity for Quadrathlon to be seen by a wider audiance. The finish will be in the middle of downtown Cologne, the Quadrathletes will race on the Sunday, along side the Ironman Triathlon.
The German Quadrathlon are very pleased to be working with the Cologne-based Triathlon company who will be running this event.
