A Challenge for all the family!
Newport Bay Spring Festival (Pembrokeshire) has an increasingly competitive program. It sounds like a real fun weekend with something for all the family, and is a great introduction to Quadrathlon, with a different discipline each day - Kayak on Saturday, Run on Sunday, and Mountain Bike on Monday- its a 3 day event multisport competition, called the Carn Ingli Multisport. It involves a 7.5Km tidal estuary Kayak Race, a well established 10K race and a popular 25Km, Mountain Bike race with highly varied terrain and spectacular coastal views. Their are 2 courses 'long and short' (the short course is suitable for juniors).
If you dont fancy racing each day you can do just one of the events there is something for all abilities, including a kayak trek, a kayak taster session, and a family cycle ride. Sounds like a great May Bank Holiday Weekend, and their is plenty of sunshine forecast for then too!
