Membership for 2008 is £15.00 per person, which entitles you to discount on race entry fees, access to exclusive members training days and a quarterly newsletter.  Must be a member to race in the GB TEAM.

Membership Application Form

YOUTH RACING -12 - 13’s can do a BQA race on an individual basis in liaison with the race organiser. These competitors must be accompanied by a competent adult throughout the race (to overcome any safety issues) and a parent/guardian must be with the competitor at the race venue at all times (to avoid child protection issues). They can only compete over the following distances:
750m swim, 20k cycle, 4k kayak, 5k run
The age groups will be as follows:
19-18, 17-16, 15-14, 13-12

Driving down to South Wales, the torrential rain and flooding looked like it was going to be the third year on the trot for bad weather at this years Pembrokeshire quad but the day of the race started overcast with only a slight breeze with a calm river.

Wild, wet and windy and choppy conditions made racing tough at the last Trophy Race of the season. Despite the weather the atmosphere, as always was sunny in Bude, all the athletes enjoyed a great mornings racing, and still had plenty of time to enjoy the surf in the afternoon!
